In the summer Sonlight runs week long camps for individual kids. Our High Adventure program is for high school kids, backpack trips in the majestic San Juan mountains.

High Adventure Trips

Sonlight is in the mountains, on a green mountain meadow. There is ample terrain (120 forested acres) for mountain biking and hiking. Log buildings are in excellent repair, designed for youth ministry. Three cabins and two dorm rooms in the lodge provide bunk space for 64 total people, each with restrooms and showers. Winchester Cathedral is the fellowship hall, with foosball, ping pong, pool table, and tools for ministry (digital projector, CD/DVD, screen, TV, VCR, overhead projector and tape player). Sonlight is known for great food, all served family style.
