Winter brings deep snow to Sonlight, and we focus on hosting youth group snowboard/ski trips and retreat groups. Each group has exclusive use of the facility. We provide the facilities and foodservice, groups provide their own adult leadership and program. Snow shoes are available for exploring, and the outdoor hot tubs are especially nice in the winter. Roads to Sonlight are maintained in the winter, and many groups come in charter buses. Our facility is completely winterized. Sleeping is dorm style, you provide your own sleeping bags or bed linens and towels.
