(The Message)

During the meal, Jesus took and blessed the bread, broke it and gave it to His disciples

So characteristic of Biblical spiratuality: the ordinary and the miraculous are woven together. The meal the night that Jesus was betrayed was an ordinary meal. Jesus together with friends. Jesus is not distant from us. He is not found only in the extraordinary. He is revealed in the fabric of our every day lives. He is revealed in the ordinary.
