Photographer/Support
Time frame: May 30 - August 9 Compensation: First year staff: $150/week, plus room and board, workmen's compensation and laundry. Returning staff $170/week Minimum Qualifications * Ability to take digital photos of camp activities and people during the week
* Ability to use power point and create a weekly slide show of camp
* Ability to take a large (80 person) group photo
* Good character, integrity, and adaptability
* Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control
Responsible to:
Camp Director General Responsibility:
To photograph each week of camp and create a slide show for the campers and parents. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Knowledge of digital cameras and their use.
2. Ability to capture moods of people.
3. Ability to create a feeling of camp through a slide sound presentation.
4. Knowledge of when to appear and disappear when taking photos.
5. Ability to use Power Point for a presentation.
6. Also serve as Support Position. See Support Staff Job Description. Essential Functions 1. Ability to communicate with campers and other staff.
2. Physical and mental ability to be with campers.
3. Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to each activity of the campers and staff
4. Cognitive and communication skills.
5. Desire and ability to help campers.
6. Physical and mental ability and strength to participate in all activities with campers, such as sports, teams course, river rafting, archery and hiking.
