X2 was such a success in 2009, we’re bringing it back for 2010! Plus, we’ve added even more to the program! A unique program for those students who want their FAITH challenged, their SPIRITUALITY deepened, and their LEADERSHIP SKILLS developed in order to impact the world around them.

Open to high school students, the X2 program will take place July 3-9, 2010. The program will use Sonlight as a base camp during the week, while exploring many overnight adventures. X2 will encompass many aspects of high adventure, including rafting, backpacking, mountain biking, and high ropes challenge course. We’ve designed this week to include lots of fun, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Hallmarks of the program:
• For students who desire to learn more about leadership and strengthen their personal faith
• Unique speaker sessions, interactive small-group discussions, and times for journaling
• The program will include a 4-hour solo time, supervised by Sonlight staff
• Camper-to-staff ratio will be 6:1 - lower than most Sonlight programs, enhancing the investment and attention to each high school student
When: Saturday July 3 - Friday July 9, 2010
Changes for 2010: An overnight, (2) day mountain bike trip; half-day on a high ropes course; (3) day backpack trip; no application process for participating students; an evening at the Pagosa Hot Springs Resort.
Open to: (12) high school students, space is limited
Cost: $525
