Middle school can be a challenging time in a kid’s life. They’re trying to discover who they are, and what sets them apart from others their age. Sonlight offers that safe place, within community, for kids to ask tough questions, further develop as a young adult, and be reminded that it’s ok to just be a kid. Our 2010 Theme for the summer is custom-tailored for this age group. “Agents of Change: Mission Identity – We must discover our true identity in order to change the world around us.” Kids want to be identified with something, and we hope that “something” is Christ. Sonlight offers (2) programs for students entering 7-8th grade in the Fall of 2010.
Adventure Camp (Jr. High): a traditional one-week resident camp Wilderness Week (for Boys /Girls): for 6-8th graders, a rustic wilderness experience in the National Forest.
