Dani and JT took a spin around camp on snow shoes. Campfire circle is still buried in snow. In case you were wondering, there is a fort under the picnic tables at the campfire circle. Will spring ever come?

First day of spring: Vernal Equinox 2010. Equal day and night. Despite being told it's a myth, Dani and Mary are holding on to the fact that you can only balance an egg on it's end on the spring equinax and the fall equinox.

"We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve. If it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage, it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully." Romans 12:6-8

We had a Board meeting this weekend- a productive time. Summer is a 'comin! We have a ski group arriving from Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin, Texas today. They're in for a treat at Wolf Creek- fresh snow and sunshine. Jack R. and friends stopped by yesterday after a day at Wolf Creek, it was great to see them.
Winston has a trainer set up on the deck to prepare for an upcoming bicycle tour. You might notice that camp is still quite snowy!

For a webcam view of Hidden Valley Ranch - Sonlight is just out of the view on the bottom left -- check out the Pagosa Sun.
Our theme next summer is: “Agents of Change: Mission Identity – We must discover our true identity in order to change the world around us.” Lots wrapped up in our identity in Christ. Our mission. Change.
“When you discover your mission, you will feel its demand. It will fill you with enthusiasm and a burning desire to get to work on it.”

“There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.”

What a weekend with gals from Pine Valley Church. 67 ladies joined us for the weekend, and how grateful we were for Dani and Valerie! Spring is in the air, and here comes the mud. Deep snow in the meadow, but the road and parking lot look like March. Camps continue to fill, so don't hesitate if you're not already signed up.
